DUBLIN, July 21 (Reuters) - Ryanair has decided
not to switch MAX 10 aircraft due for delivery in early 2027 to
the smaller MAX 8 aircraft following reassurances from Boeing ( BA )
that they will arrive on time, Chief Executive Michael
O'Leary said on Monday.
Boeing ( BA ) promised to tell Ryanair by the end of June whether
the new aircraft would be ready, "or we would change back and
take more additional (MAX) 8-200s," O'Leary told analysts
following the publication of results for the April-June quarter.
Boeing Commercial Airplanes CEO Stephanie Pope has
"helpfully confirmed ... in writing" that the aircraft will
arrive on time, O'Leary said.
