DUBLIN, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Ryanair expects that
Boeing ( BA ) will boost its monthly output of 737 jets to 42
per month from 38 by October, the airline's chief executive
Michael O'Leary told journalists on Wednesday.
Boeing ( BA ) is waiting for the Federal Aviation Administration to
lift a 38-plane-per-month cap on 737 MAX production, which it
imposed shortly after a January 2024 mid-air emergency involving
a new Alaska Airlines 737 MAX 9 missing four key bolts.
Ryanair is one of Boeing's ( BA ) largest 737 customers and O'Leary
said he had spoken to Boeing ( BA ) commercial airplanes head Stephanie
Pope earlier on Wednesday.
