Ryanair Reportedly Expects Boeing to Increase Production of 737 Jets
Aug 27, 2025 8:07 AM

10:37 AM EDT, 08/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ryanair ( RYAOF ) expects Boeing ( BA ) to increase its monthly production of 737 airplanes to 42 per month from 38 by October, Ryanair ( RYAOF ) Chief Executive Michael O'Leary told journalists in London on Wednesday, according to media reports.

O'Leary said that he had spoken to Boeing ( BA ) commercial airplanes head Stephanie Pope on Wednesday, Reuters reported.

Bloomberg reported that Boeing ( BA ) has already accelerated deliveries of its 737 Max planes to Ryanair ( RYAOF ), which is one of its largest clients and expects to get 25 737 jets between August and October.

Reuters reported that Boeing ( BA ) is waiting for the US Federal Aviation Administration to remove a limit of 38 planes per month on the production of its 737 Max planes, which the regulator ordered after a January 2024 mid-air emergency with an Alaska Airlines' (ALK) 737.

Boeing ( BA ) and the FAA didn't immediately respond to requests for comment by MT Newswires.
