05:37 AM EDT, 06/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ryde Group ( RYDE ) said Friday it has partnered with Tencent Cloud to enhance communication for its ride-hailing services in Southeast Asia.

The partnership integrates Tencent's Real-Time Communication technology into Ryde's platform, aiming to offer low-latency and secure communication between drivers and riders, Ryde said.

By replacing traditional telecom systems, the collaboration seeks to lower operational costs and improve service efficiency, the company said.

Ryde also said it plans to leverage Tencent Cloud's infrastructure to enhance user experience, boost pricing strategies, and improve customer engagement.
