Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.42.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $3.17 billion, compared with $2.92 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.92 billion.

For Q4, the company expects adjusted EPS of $3.32 to $3.52. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $3.59.

The company trimmed the lower end of its 2024 adjusted EPS guidance to now be between $11.90 and $12.10 from the prior outlook of $11.90 to $12.40. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $12.13.

Total revenue growth for the year is now projected to be about 7%, compared with the prior guidance of 8%.
