08:16 AM EDT, 10/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Sable Offshore's ( SOC ) Pacific Pipeline unit said Monday it and its predecessors have maintained a cathodic protection and pressure maintenance program on the line 324/325 pipeline in California that was closed down in 2015.

Pacific Pipeline said it started the maintenance and repair program on the pipeline this year and expects to restart it by the end of this year.

The unit evacuated, cleaned, and preserved the pipeline with inert nitrogen in order to keep it free of corrosion, the company said.
