Sable Offshore Updates Santa Ynez Development, Production Plan
Oct 10, 2025 8:43 AM

11:23 AM EDT, 10/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sable Offshore ( SOC ) said it has updated its development and production plan for the Santa Ynez Unit, submitting revisions to the US Department of the Interior's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, according to a Friday regulatory filing.

Under the updated plan, Sable Offshore ( SOC ) may use an Offshore Storage and Treating Vessel to process and ship oil from the Santa Ynez Unit to refineries outside California, providing an alternative to the Las Flores Pipeline System it is working to restart with state approval.

The company said it continues to work "diligently" to resume pipeline operations but warned that ongoing regulatory delays could prompt a full shift to its accelerated offshore processing strategy.
