11:06 AM EST, 11/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Saga Metals ( SAGMF ) announced Tuesday the start of Phase 1 diamond drilling at the high-priority Trapper Zone on its 100%-owned Radar Titanium-Vanadium-Iron project located near Cartwright, Labrador.
The company said the first hole has been spudded with a Duralite 800 diamond drill, targeting the main oxide layer along the 3.3 kilometers continuous magnetic anomaly identified through regional aeromagnetic surveys and ground geophysical follow-up. It said the commencement marks a "significant milestone" in advancing the Trapper Zone toward a maiden indicated Mineral Resource Estimate.
It said up to 15,000 meters of NQ-diameter diamond drilling is planned across about 25-30 holes, with an average depth of 250-300 meters per hole, focused on delineating the rhythmic oxide layering of vanadiferous titanomagnetite mineralization along the Trapper Zone's strike length.
Shares of the company were last seen up 2.1% at $0.495 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
