02:26 PM EDT, 06/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sagtec Global ( SAGT ) agreed to acquire an 80% stake in Smart Bridge Technology for $17.6 million in stock from VCI Global ( VCIG ) .

The transaction is expected to complement hospitality and point-of-sale infrastructure, "enabling immediate integration and monetization," Sagtec said Friday in a regulatory filing.

Sagtec shares fell 4.9% in recent trading Friday, and VCI Global ( VCIG ) dropped 12%.
