07:52 AM EDT, 10/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Saia ( SAIA ) reported Q3 earnings Friday of $3.46 per diluted share, down from $3.67 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.52.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $842.1 million, up from $775.1 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $839.9 million.

Saia ( SAIA ) shares fell 5% in recent Friday premarket activity.
