Saia Unit Opens New Terminals in California, Minnesota

01:45 PM EDT, 06/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Saia ( SAIA ) said Monday that Saia LTL Freight has opened a new terminal near Anaheim in California and another one in Owatonna, Minnesota.

The terminal near Anaheim will replace the existing Long Beach facility, while the Owatonna terminal will strengthen the company's operations in the Upper Midwest, said Executive Vice President of Operations Patrick Sugar.

The company said it plans to open up to 16 terminals by the end of 2024 to boost its national network.

Shares of Saia ( SAIA ) were up about 2.1% in recent trading.
