01:05 PM EST, 12/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Salesforce ( CRM ) Cofounder and Chief Executive Marc Benioff said Wednesday there was "no deal on the table" to sell Time magazine.

In an interview with Bloomberg TV, Benioff said, "It's extremely important that we do have fair and balanced journalism, and that's why I'm very proud to be an owner of Time."

Benioff and his wife, Lynne, bought Time from Meredith Corp. six years ago for $190 million, according to media reports.
