09:12 AM EDT, 09/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Salesforce ( CRM ) and Alphabet's (GOOG) Google ( GOOG ) said Tuesday they are collaborating to create Salesforce ( CRM ) "Agentforce Agents" that will help people collaborate securely across Salesforce Customer 360 and Google Workspace apps.

Salesforce's ( CRM ) Agentforce platform allows the creation of autonomous AI agents for employee and customer support. Agentforce and Google Workspace interactions will be "generally available" later this year on Salesforce AppExchange, the companies said.

The integrations will be backed by user data protections that Google Workspace uses, according to the companies.

Financial details of the collaboration were not provided.
