07:30 AM EST, 11/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Salesforce ( CRM ) said Friday it is experiencing a service outage that began at 05:55 UTC.

"The Salesforce Services are experiencing a service disruption affecting multiple instances, preventing end users from accessing the platform," the company said on its website.

Salesforce ( CRM ) said its technology team is still reviewing the exact cause of the outage as of 7:11 UTC but "recent changes are suspected contributing factors."

"High levels of network traffic impacting database stability have been observed, and our teams are actively tracing and mitigating the source," the company said.

Salesforce ( CRM ) shares were down over 1% in recent premarket trading.
