Salesforce to Acquire Informatica in $8 Billion Deal

08:17 AM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Salesforce ( CRM ) has agreed to acquire Informatica ( INFA ) for about $8 billion in cash including debt, the companies said Tuesday.

Salesforce ( CRM ) will pay $25 per share for Informatica ( INFA ), the companies said.

Under the terms of the agreement, Salesforce ( CRM ) will acquire all outstanding shares of Informatica ( INFA ) that it does not already own, the companies said.

The transaction has already been approved by the boards of both companies and is expected to close early in Salesforce's ( CRM ) fiscal year 2027, the companies said.

Informatica ( INFA ) stockholders holding about 63% of the voting power have already consented to the deal, the company said.

The transaction will be funded through a combination of cash and new debt, the companies said.

Salesforce ( CRM ) said it expects the deal to be accretive to non-GAAP earnings per share in the second year following the expected closing.

Informatica ( INFA ) shares rose by more than 6% in premarket trading, while Salesforce ( CRM ) was about 1% higher.
