10:16 AM EDT, 05/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Samsara (IOT) and Carahsoft Technology have partnered to improve safety and efficiency in public fleet management, the companies said Wednesday.

Financial details of the partnership weren't provided.

They said Samsara's technology solutions will be available to the public sector through Carahsoft's reseller partners and National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint and Omnia Partners contracts.

Through an integrated platform, Samsara enables the public sector to manage public fleet operations, including video-based safety, vehicle telematics, apps and driver workflows, the companies said.

The partnership aims to help agencies save time and resources by ensuring that they can efficiently choose and implement Samsara's solutions, according to the companies.
