Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus likely to have preinstalled plastic screen guard, says report
Mar 1, 2019 3:20 AM

New Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus have a preinstalled plastic screen protector on their device, which means the user is not required to search for a screen protector that is compatible with the device, The Verge reported.

The report said this is similar to what OnePlus provides and said the screen guard is likely to scratch over time as it is only for a temporary basis. The included protector, the report added, does not have a warranty on how long it will last.

Samsung, the report said, will sell more of these screen guards for $29.99 but will not bring it on off-the-shelf sale. Galaxy S10E, however, will not have this protector.

The report said that the company is taking this move intentionally for S10 and S10 Plus to give consumers a quick solution as soon as they unbox the new phone.
