At Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. ( IVPAF ) 's Platreef project in South Africa, the miner has outlined an optimized development plan that de-risks initial production and accelerates the asset's phase 2 expansion by up to three years. Sandstorm holds a gold stream on Platreef.

SSR Mining Inc. ( SSRGF ) retracted its guidance for its Turkish assets including the Hod Maden development, where Sandstorm holds a gold stream and net smelter returns royalty.

Teck Resources Ltd. (TECK-B.TO) has received environmental approval for the Antamina copper mine in Peru. Sandstorm holds a 1.66% silver stream on silver production at Antamina as well as an effective 0.55% net profits interest royalty on the mine.

Lundin Mining Corp. ( LUNMF ) has also released an updated reserve and resource estimate at the Sauva deposit near the Chapada plant. Sandstorm has a copper stream agreement to purchase 4.2% of the copper produced at Chapada up to a maximum of 3.9 million pounds annually.

At Lundin Gold Inc. ( LUGDF ) 's Fruta del Norte project in Ecuador, the company is launching a 56,000-meter drill program. Sandstorm has a 0.9% net smelter royalty on the precious metals produced from Fruta del Norte.

Falco Resources Ltd. ( FPRGF ) signed an agreement to utilize a portion of Glencore Canada's land to develop and operate the Horne 5 project located in Quebec. Sandstorm has a 2.0% NSR royalty on Horne 5.

Erdene Resource Development Corp. ( ERDCF ) has commenced construction work at the Bayan Khundii project in Mongolia. Sandstorm has a 1.0% NSR royalty on Bayan Khundii.

Lastly, Entree Resources Ltd. ( ERLFF ) has released partial drill results from the 2022 drill program at the Hugo North Extension project. Sandstorm owns a gold, silver, and copper stream on the project.
