Jan 30, 2025 6:13 AM

08:55 AM EST, 01/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Santacruz Silver Mining ( SCZMF ) reported lower silver equivalent production in the fourth quarter.

The company produced 4.7 million ounces of silver equivalent, dropping from 4.8 million ounces. Silver production rose to 1.8 million ounces from 1.7 million ounces.

"This growth in silver output and favorable market dynamics in silver prices have significantly strengthened our revenue-generating ability," said Arturo Prestamo, Santacruz's executive chairman and CEO.

Zinc production slid to 23,357 tonnes from 23,777 tonnes, lead output ticked down to 2,932 tonnes from 3,129 tonnes, and copper output slipped to 248 tonnes from 290 tonnes.

"We believe that these solid production levels will provide a strong platform for continued value creation as we move into 2025," Prestamo added.

The company's share price gained 4.6% on Wednesday to $0.34 on the TSXV.
