09:25 AM EST, 02/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Schlumberger ( SLB ) said Tuesday its OneSubsea joint venture has signed a pre-commitment agreement with Var Energi to provide subsea production systems, with work on two equipment packages expected to begin immediately.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Separately, Var Energi said it expects delivery of components needed for drilling in 2026 and a complete subsea production system before summer 2027.

The company said the deal is anticipated to further cut project development time and cost.
