A large transaction in the consumer electric business has hit the deal street. According to sources, global major Schneider Electric has put its Luminous Power business on the block.

The company has reached out to private equity funds, strategic players for sale. Citigroup has been hired as the banker and advisor for the deal. CNBC-TV18’s Nisha Poddar gets more details.
