07:40 AM EDT, 04/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Scholar Rock ( SRRK ) said Monday it has appointed Chairman David Hallal as chief executive, succeeding Jay Backstrom, who will serve as a strategic adviser.

The company also named Vikas Sinha as chief financial officer and R. Keith Woods as chief operating officer.

Sinha previously served as CFO of Alexion and ElevateBio, while Woods was formerly COO of argenx (ARGX).

Scholar Rock ( SRRK ) shares were down 2.3% in recent premarket activity.
