Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.24.
Revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 1 was $1.77 billion, down from $1.82 billion a year earlier.

For fiscal 2026, the company now expects adjusted EPS of $9.40 to $9.60, up from its earlier projection of $9.10 to $9.30. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $9.20.
Science Applications ( SAIC ) said it now expects full-year revenue between $7.25 billion and $7.33 billion, down from its previous outlook range of $7.60 billion to $7.75 billion. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $7.66 billion.
The company's shares were down 3% in recent premarket activity.
