08:19 AM EDT, 09/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Scilex ( SCLX ) said Thursday that it has closed an exchange of $200 million worth of common stock of its majority owned subsidiary Semnur Pharmaceuticals for $200 million in Bitcoin.

The company said the transaction with an institutional investor included 12.5 million Semnur shares at $16 per share.

Shares of Scilex ( SCLX ) were up 1% in recent premarket activity Thursday.
