10:24 AM EDT, 07/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Scilex ( SCLX ) said Wednesday it has signed a memorandum of understanding for a collaboration agreement with China-based ACEA.

Under the terms of the memorandum, ACEA may get the exclusive rights to develop and commercialize ZTlido in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau once ZTlido is approved locally, according to Scilex ( SCLX ).

Scilex ( SCLX ) may expand the collaboration with ACEA to include Scilex's ( SCLX ) other pain management products in Greater China, the company said.

ZTlido is a lidocaine topical system used to treat neuropathic pain linked to post-herpetic neuralgia, Scilex ( SCLX ) said.
