07:54 AM EDT, 06/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Scorpio Tankers ( SBBA ) said Tuesday it has agreed to sell five of its medium-range tankers for $179.1 million to separate buyers.

The sales are expected to close in Q3.

Four of the vessels were built in 2012 and one in 2013. Following the completion of the sales, Scorpio's entire fleet will consist of ships no more than 10 years old.
