01:32 PM EDT, 08/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Scorpius Holdings ( SCPX ) shares fell more than 8% in recent trading Monday after closing an underwritten public offering of 14.4 million shares of common stock at $1 each, including overallotment option in full.

The shares generated gross proceeds of $14.4 million, which the company plans to use for working capital and general corporate purposes.
