Dec 3 (Reuters) - Canada's Bank of Nova Scotia ( BNS )
reported a higher fourth-quarter profit on Tuesday, as it set
aside a smaller amount in rainy-day funds and earned more from
interest.
The lender reported a profit of C$1.69 billion, or C$1.22
per share in the quarter ended Oct. 31, compared to C$1.35
billion, or 99 Canadian cents apiece in the year-ago period.
