SEALSQ's New Post-Quantum Cryptographic Chips Installed on WISeKey International Satellites

10:31 AM EST, 12/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SEALSQ ( LAES ) said Friday its newest post-quantum cryptographic chips were used on WISeKey International ( WKEY ) unit WISeSat's satellites to support quantum-based cyber threat protection.

SEALSQ ( LAES ) and WISeSat plan to convert data into particles of light and send it through a network of satellites, making the data harder to hack.

The next WISeSat launch with SpaceX is set for Jan. 14 from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

WISeKey's ( WKEY ) shares jumped 31% in recent Friday trading, and SEALSQ ( LAES ) climbed 15%.
