08:21 AM EDT, 04/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were leaning higher pre-bell Monday with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) recently inactive, while the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) was up 0.1%.

Doma Holdings ( DOMA ) rose more than 35% after announcing its pending takeover by Title Resources Group for $6.29 per share in an all-cash deal.
