08:51 AM EDT, 04/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed premarket Thursday, with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) 0.3% higher and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) down 0.2%.

D.R. Horton ( DHI ) was up nearly 5% after it reported higher fiscal Q2 earnings and revenue in addition to lifting its fiscal 2024 revenue guidance.
