08:48 AM EDT, 04/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were leaning lower premarket Friday with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) and Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) marginally declining recently.

Big Lots ( BIG ) was up nearly 2% after saying it has secured a $200 million new "first in, last out" term loan facility from an affiliate of Gordon Brothers Capital.
