01:35 PM EDT, 06/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed Monday afternoon, with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) increasing 0.8% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) down 0.3%.

In corporate news, car dealerships including AutoNation ( AN ) , Lithia Motors (LAD) and Group 1 Automotive ( GPI ) warned of business disruptions on Monday after a cyberattack that occurred last week at third-party information-systems vendor CDK Global. AutoNation ( AN ) shares were down 0.7%, Lithia was rising 1% and Group 1 was adding 1.8%.
