Redbook US same-store sales increased by 5.4% from a year earlier in the week ended Oct. 5 after a 5.3% year-over-year increase in the previous week.
In corporate news, PepsiCo ( PEP ) revised its full-year organic revenue growth outlook on Tuesday as Q3 earnings beat Wall Street estimates, while sales fell short of expectations. Its shares were rising over 1%.
