08:50 AM EST, 12/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed premarket Thursday as the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) was up 0.4% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) was 0.4% lower recently.

Lovesac ( LOVE ) shares fell past 22% after the company reported a wider fiscal Q3 net loss as net sales declined during the period. The company also lowered its fiscal 2025 outlook.
