08:31 AM EST, 12/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were declining premarket Friday with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) 0.1% lower and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) recently down 0.4%.

HWH International ( HWH ) shares were up 15% after the company announced a stock purchase agreement to sell 1.3 million common shares to Alset at $0.45 per share for $585,000.
