Redbook US same-store sales rose by 4.5% from a year earlier in the week ended June 21, slower than a 5.2% year-over-year increase in the previous week.
In corporate news, McDonald's (MCD) and Krispy Kreme (DNUT) said they will end their collaboration as the doughnut maker struggled with turning a profit on the venture. McDonald's shares were rising 0.6%, and Krispy Kreme was down 0.4%.
