08:54 AM EDT, 06/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed pre-bell Wednesday, with The Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) marginally lower and The Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) 0.3% higher.

General Mills ( GIS ) shares were down more than 3% after the company reported lower fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings and net sales.
