08:55 AM EDT, 08/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed premarket Wednesday, with The Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) 0.2% lower and The Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) up 0.1%.

TJX (TJX) shares were up more than 4% after the company posted higher fiscal Q2 earnings and net sales in addition to raising its fiscal 2026 EPS guidance.
