In corporate news, Webtoon Entertainment ( WBTN ) shares surged 35% after the company and Walt Disney ( DIS ) announced Monday the signing of a non-binding term sheet to develop a digital comics platform. The companies also said they signed a non-binding term sheet for Disney ( DIS ) to buy a 2% stake in Webtoon. Walt Disney ( DIS ) shares shed 0.7%.
