08:58 AM EDT, 10/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed premarket Thursday, with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) slightly advancing and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) 0.7% lower.

Tesla (TSLA) shares were down more than 3% after the company posted Q3 lower adjusted earnings that also missed analysts' expectations.
