08:55 AM EST, 11/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were steady premarket Tuesday, with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) inactive and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) slightly advancing.

Alibaba Group Holding ( BABA ) stock was up more than 2% after the company posted higher fiscal Q2 revenue that also exceeded market expectations.
