08:54 AM EDT, 09/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were mixed premarket Monday, with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) 0.1% lower and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) marginally advancing.

ODP (ODP) shares were up 33% after the company said it agreed to be acquired by an affiliate of Atlas Holdings in an all-cash transaction for $28 a share, valuing ODP at about $1 billion.
