Sector Update: Consumer Stocks Advance Premarket Thursday

09:12 AM EST, 02/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks advanced premarket Thursday as the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLP ) was up 0.2% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLY ) was 0.8% higher recently.

Unilever ( UL ) shares fell by over 6% after the company reported a decline in Q4 turnover.

Molson Coors Beverage ( TAP/A ) shares were up 6% after the company reported an increase in Q4 underlying earnings.

Hyatt Hotels ( H ) shares were down 5% after the company reported lower Q4 adjusted earnings and revenue.
