09:13 AM EDT, 03/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were edging higher pre-bell Wednesday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) up 0.2% and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) advancing by 1.3%.

PDD Holdings ( PDD ) shares were up more than 2% after the company posted higher Q4 revenue.

Chewy (CHWY) stock was up more than 10% after the company reported higher fiscal Q4 net sales.

On Holding ( ONON ) said it has named co-founders David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti as co-chief executives, effective May 1. Shares of On Holding ( ONON ) were down by more than 5% pre-bell.
