08:56 AM EST, 02/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks fell premarket Monday with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 2% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) 3.1% lower recently.

Stratasys ( SSYS ) shares rose nearly 15% after the company said Fortissimo Capital will invest $120 million to acquire about a 14% stake in Stratasys ( SSYS ) by purchasing about 11.7 million newly issued shares at $10.30 each.

Teledyne Technologies ( TDY ) shares were nearly 3% lower after the company said it has closed the roughly $710 million acquisition of certain aerospace and defense electronics businesses of Excelitas Technologies.

InterDigital (IDCC) shares were up 5% after the company said it has filed patent infringement lawsuits against Walt Disney ( DIS ) , accusing it of using the company's video streaming technologies without authorization.
