Seeing some pick up in hiring, people learning to live with COVID: Quess Corp

Suraj Moraje, Executive Director and Group CEO at Quess Corp spoke to CNBC-TV18 about the trends in staffing now that the economy is beginning to open up.

“Our own business is seeing hiring start to revive,” Moraje said.

“Overall we are seeing the Indian market at an injection point. The population is learning to live with COVID. Vaccine is on the horizon, we are starting to see some of the fast moving indicators go up,” he said.

“There is a little bit of flexible demand but the nature of the demand by and large seems to be much more secular,” he said.

“The hiring is still down by 15 percent from pre-COVID levels,” Moraje mentioned.
