05:39 PM EDT, 06/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Semler Scientific ( SMLR ) said Thursday it purchased 247 additional bitcoins for about $17 million in cash.

The company said it held a total of 828 bitcoins, acquired for about $57 million, as of June 6.

The company's Chief Executive Doug Murphy-Chutorian said the company plans to continue the strategy of purchasing bitcoins through cash.
