05:48 PM EDT, 06/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Sempra's ( SRE ) infrastructure unit signed a nonbinding heads of agreement with Japan's JERA Co. for a 20-year sale of 1.5 million tons per annum of liquefied natural gas from the Port Arthur phase 2 project in Jefferson County, Texas.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

Development of phase 2 remains subject to additional commercial agreements, financing and a final investment decision, Sempra Infrastructure said Wednesday in a statement.
