SentinelOne Fiscal Q1 Loss Narrows, Revenue Rises; Fiscal Q2, 2024 Revenue Guidance Set -- Shares Slump After Hours

05:17 PM EDT, 05/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SentinelOne ( S ) reported a fiscal Q1 loss late Thursday of $0.23 per diluted share, narrowing from a loss of $0.37 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.27.

Revenue for the quarter ended April 30 was $186.4 million, up from $133.4 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $181.1 million.

The company said it expects fiscal Q2 revenue of $197 million. Analysts expect $197.8 million.

For fiscal 2025, it expects revenue of $808 million to $815 million. Analysts are looking for $817.3 million.

Shares of the company slumped nearly 8% in recent after-hours activity.
